Day Two
Katra- Vaishno Devi Katra
After early breakfast, start your Holy journey to Mata Vaishno Devi Darshan. Trek to Mata Vaishno Devi shrine(14km), ponies/ Choper can also be arranged by self at your own cost for the trek. Return back to Katra late evening and overnight stay at Hotel. As you know, Mata Vaishno Devi temple is one of the Holiest Hindu temples dedicated to Shakti and is the second most visited shrine in India after Tirupati Balaji temple, over night stay at the hotel in Katra.
Day Four
Pahalgam-Srinagar
In the morning after an early break fast, proceed for local sightseeing, in Pahalgam you can visit Betaab valley, (Betaab Valley is situated at a distance of 15 kilometers from Pahalgam. The valley surrounded by lush green meadows, snow clad mountains and covered with dense vegetation). You can also visit Aru Valley (small yet self-sufficient scenic village located 12 km from Pahalgam), Chandanwari (situated at a distance of 16 km from Pahalgam, starting point of the yatra that takes place every year in the month of July .After whole day tour , drive back to Srinagar and check in the hotel for overnight stay.
Day Five
Srinagar- Sonamarg
After breakfast, proceed for Sonamarg, the name Sonamarg is derived from two Kashmiri words “Son” & “Marg” which mean “Gold” & “Meadow”, when put together it means “Meadow of Gold”.
The drive from Srinagar to Sonamarg is very beautiful as you will pass through some towns and villages. At many places, you can enjoy the view of paddy fields with rivers flowing on one side. In Sonamarg, you can visit Thajwas Glacier, which is around 4Kms from Sonamarg, a Local Taxi Or Pony Ride has to be hired (on your own Expenses). Return back to Srinagar in the evening after enjoying your day, overnight stay in the Hotel at Srinagar.
Day Six
Srinagar – Gulmarg
After breakfast, proceed to Gulmarg and explore the “Meadow of Flowers” Discovered by the Kashmiri romantic poet in the 16th century who was inspired with its grassy slopes covered with wild flowers. In winter, Gulmarg looks more beautiful due to heavy snow fall and turns into India’s premier Ski resort in winter.
Gulmarg has one of the best ski slopes in the world and highest golf course with 18 holes. Upon arrival at Gulmarg, enjoy Gondola Ride (on your own cost), world’s highest cable car ride upto Kangdoori 5000ft and Apharwat Mountains 14000ft, to Khilanmarg peak or Apharwatt snow point 4390 m above sea level as well as enjoy adventures like snow biking, ATV, car riding, sledge riding, snow men, photoshoot, ski in the lap of snow clapped mountains ( Not included in the package). In the evening drive to Srinagar and overnight stay at hotel in the heart of Srinagar
Day Seven
Local Sightseeing
Next day morning after breakfast, proceed to Srinagar Local Sightseeing. Visit to Mughal Gardens, Shankaracharya Temple (built on the top of the mountain overlooking Dal Lake), then explore the Asia’s largest Tulip Garden, visit to Pari Mahal (Palace of Fairies) Cheshma Shahi (Mughal Spring), Nishat Garden known as ‘Garden of pleasure‘ built in 16th century (1633) by Mughal King Asif Khan. Then visit Shalimar Garden known as ‘Garden of love‘ built in 16th century (1619) by Mughal King Jehangir for his beloved wife Noor Jehan or (Mehrun Nissa).
In the evening, enjoy SHIKARA RIDE (one hour ) on world famous Dal Lake in which you will cover Floating Gardens, Vegetable Gardens, Golden Lake, Inner markets like Mena Bazar, and Canals etc, also enjoy the scenic view of Zabarwan Mountains, dinner and overnight stay in Hotel.
Day Eight
Departure
After breakfast checkout from the Hotel and drive to local sightseeing if there is leisure time and as early as possible move towards the Airport to catch the flights for your onward destinations (hope you are punctual arrival at Domestic Airport).
