Tour Itinerary
Day One
Airport Arrival / Local Sightseeing
Meet our representative at Srinagar Airport. He will assist you and transfer you to the Houseboat / Hotel for check in. After refresh, proceed to Asia’s largest Tulip Garden. Visit Mughal Gardens, Pari Mahal (Palace of Fairies) Cheshma Shahi (Mughal Spring), Nishat Garden known as ‘Garden of pleasure’ built in 16th century (1633) by Mughal King Asif Khan. Then visit Shalimar Garden known as ‘Garden of love’ built in 16th century (1619) by Mughal King Jehangir for his beloved wife Noor Jehan or (Mehr-un-Nissa).
In the evening enjoy Shikara Ride (on your own cost) on world famous Dal Lake in which you will cover, Floating Gardens, Vegetable Gardens, Golden Lake, Inner markets like Mena Bazar, and Canals etc. Also enjoy the scenic view of Zabarwan Mountains. Dinner and overnight stay in Houseboat.
Day Two
Srinagar – Gulmarg
After breakfast, proceed to Gulmarg, “Meadow of Flowers” Discovered by the Kashmiri romantic poet in the 16th century who was inspired with its grassy slopes covered with wild flowers. In winter, Gulmarg looks more beautiful due to heavy snow fall and turns into India’s premier Ski resort. Gulmarg has one of the best ski slopes in the world and highest golf course with 18 holes. In Addition to this ,there are many other amusing activities like snow scooter, ATV car rides, sledging and many more .Upon arrival at Gulmarg, enjoy Gondola Ride (on your own cost) world’s highest cable car offers ride upto Kangdoori 5000ft and Apharwat Mountains 14000ft. In the evening, drive back to Srinagar and overnight stay in the hotel at Srinagar.
Day Three
Srinagar-Pahalgam
In the morning after an early breakfast, proceed towards Pahalgam “Valley of Shepherds.” Pahalgam is the most famous place for Indian Film Industry. In Pahalgam, enjoy the nature and admire the beauty of this quiet place and be in awe of the serene surroundings. You can visit Betaab valley, the valley is surrounded by lush green meadows, snow clapped mountains and crystal clear water flowing through Aru valley and Chandanwari, the starting point of Yatra .A local Taxi has to be hired for these beautiful places on your own cost.
In the evening, return back to Srinagar and enroute, you can visit world famous Saffron Kesari Fields and historical monuments at pamper. Overnight stay in the hotel at Srinagar.
Day Four
Excursion to Sonmarg
In the morning after breakfast, explore the Sonamarg which is derived from two Kashmiri words “Son” & “Marg” which mean “Gold” & “Meadow”, when put together it means “Meadow of Gold”.
The drive from Srinagar to Sonamarg is very beautiful as you will pass through some towns and villages. At many places, you can enjoy the view of paddy fields with rivers flowing on one side. In Sonamarg, you can visit Thajwas Glacier, which is around 4Kms from Sonamarg, a Local Taxi Or Pony Ride has to be hired (on your own Expenses).Return back to Srinagar in the evening after enjoying your day, overnight stay in the Hotel at Srinagar.
Day Five
Departure
After breakfast checkout from the Hotel and drive to local sightseeing if there is leisure time.
As early as possible move towards the Airport to catch the flights for your onward destinations (hope your punctual arrival at Domestic Airport).
